Travel Tip #73 – Have A Back Story
We have all come across people while traveling whom we would rather not give details about ourselves to. Maybe someone asks you name, where you are from, profession or details about where you are staying. Why not have a nice little backstory ready to go when put on the spot. Sometimes it feels nice to remain a bit private and not give away too much while traveling or in a new place. Also, always know the name of a hotel in the city you are in other than the one you are actually staying in. This allows you to be dropped of there, and even if you want to walk inside for a minute, you can quickly walk to your actual hotel once you feel safe. Hope you never has to use this, but a great trick to have in your back pocket!
