Travel bloggers are a special kind of bloggers, and are often envied by friends and family for “living the dream” and seeing the world. Travel bloggers provide a valuable service for those looking to read honest, raw, helpful and informative information about their next big travel destination, or allow them to dream and fantasize about traveling the world someday. And that is why we decided to ask our readers who their favorite couple travel blogs were so we could compile a list of the best blogs of 2013.

Inside of the travel blogging community, there are endless genres, highlighting specific niches to help out any type of traveler. Whether you turn to travel bloggers for food, budget, luxury, adventure or solo travel, chances are someone out there has done exactly what you are looking for, and if they have done their job right, given you all the information you need to plan your next trip just the way you want it. There is a whole category of couple travel bloggers out there, and while we are one ourselves, we draw just as much inspiration and motivation from them as anyone.

10 – World Walk About – Meet Matt and Andrea, the dynamic duo behind World Walk About. We really love these guys, their sense of adventure and their ability to leave the good ole’ USA and see the World. We have Only met two Americans living abroad in the last year! Matt and Andrea spent a year living in South Korea and along with providing great information about expat life and living abroad, they have tons of helpful information for anyone looking to live abroad while teaching ESL.

9 – Our Favorite Adventure – Kathleen and Brock are just plain awesome. We love their adventurous spirit, health conscious views on life and the general gusto with which they embrace the world around them. We love reading their blog for adventure and outdoor travel inspiration, healthy eating on the road and to get ideas about where we want to travel next! Currently in Portugal, follow along when them on their travels and try to keep up!

8 – Goats On The Road – Talk about adventurous, this awesome Canadian traveling couple is currently in Iran! Having traveled to over 41 countries while being on and off the road since 2008, Nick and Dariece have done some unbelievable things from going on a Camel Safari in India to Snorkeling with Sharks in Mozambique. They also have an awesome YouTube page, with great videos, like this 14 day road trip through Tajikistan!

7 – Globetrotter Girls – Dani and Jess are a German/American couple who describe themselves as “Digital Nomads, Street Food Junkies, House-sitters, Vegetarians, Street Art & Photography Lovers and Hotel Enthusiasts.” In addition to be in the top travel blogs world wide the last few years and creating loads of interesting and helpful information, they have just announced their new GlobetrotterGirls Getaways, which look amazing! They have put together an exciting first itinerary from San Francisco to Seattle in May 2014, and will be hosting additional upcoming trips in Europe, Mexico and hopefully Asia! Some of our favorite travel blogs on this list are ones which no only deal with travel, but niche travel. Being a lesbian couple, Dani and Jess not only provide wonderful travel inspiration and ideas but also write entertaining and interesting articles about gay travel around the world.

6 – J Domb’s Travels – Traveling the world together for over 10 years now, Jennifer and Tim now how to travel right, all while maintaining those 9-5 jobs most people think stop them from being able to travel. While we love following other nomads and full time expat travel bloggers, its great to see a couple like these two, balance the worlds of a full time job and international travel. In the next 3 months alone, they will be traveling through Thailand, Myanmar, the US and Tanzania. In addition to writing about all the amazing places they have been, they have a great Bucket List full of amazing experiences and destinations they plan on crossing of their list someday!

5 – Over Yonderlust – We are down to the top 5 couple travel bloggers and we couldn’t forget to include Shaun and Erica from Over Yonderlust. This quirky and fun couple are high school sweethearts who left Austin, Texas and have traveled over 30,000 miles together since! While they might have settled back down for now, we are excited for them to hit the road again and follow along wherever they may be. Check out their ENTIRE itinerary over the past 3 years, they have been all over the place!

Beth and Randy simply want to inspire you to get out and see the world, a goal many of us travel bloggers have, however, they manage to stay a step ahead of the pack with amazing travel stories, gorgeous photographs, inspirational tips and tricks and even offer some great promotions. (Maldives anyone?).
